Job summary

DARA PEOPLE LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for data centre infrastructure. The role covers MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers and complex power systems, with ownership from design through commissioning and handover.

You will review designs, assess technical risks, and coordinate with consultants, contractors and vendors on site. Direct data-centre experience is valued, but not essential, as a background in large-scale electrical infrastructure is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Experience in major infrastructure, industrial or mission-critical environments.
• Ability to review designs and identify technical risks.
• Knowledge of electrical studies including grounding, voltage drop, protection coordination, load flow.
• Client-side data-centre experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of electrical design from design through commissioning and handover.

• Support construction, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and handover.

Lead Electrical Engineer – Data Centre Infrastructure

Singapore | Permanent | Fully on-site

Client-side electrical engineering role across major mission-critical infrastructure — MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers and complex power systems.

Take technical ownership of electrical design and assurance from design through commissioning and handover.

The role

You’ll work across:

• MV/LV electrical distribution, with exposure to HV systems
• Switchgear, transformers and major power infrastructure
• Electrical studies including grounding, voltage drop, protection coordination and load flow
• Design review and technical assurance
• Consultant, contractor and vendor technical coordination
• Construction, commissioning, FAT/SAT and handover
• Energy storage, microgrids and complex AC/DC systems where relevant

What we’re looking for

Strong electrical engineering experience within major infrastructure, industrial or mission-critical environments, with the ability to review designs, identify technical risks and challenge engineering decisions.

Direct data-centre experience is useful but not essential.

Relevant backgrounds include data centres, utilities, substations, semiconductor facilities, rail power, defence and other large-scale electrical infrastructure.
