Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Singapore is hiring a DC Hall Hot Aisle Containment Technical Lead with 15+ years in mechanical system design and project delivery for data centers. You will provide technical leadership, design oversight, and QA/QC across APAC projects.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams to deliver reliable, energy-efficient containment solutions across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional accreditation (PE/CEng) preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of mechanical engineering design, design management, and project delivery for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Familiarity with data center standards, OPRs, design narratives, specifications, and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Review data center HAC system designs, drawings, specs, and calculations for compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Act as Client Representative for HAC engineering matters with internal and external teams.
• Plan and standardize HAC engineering packages, guidelines, and technical standards.
• Lead detailed design development and provide technical input for complex designs.
• Coordinate with Google Workspace, BIM360, 3Dx, and ACC for design reviews and documentation.
• Identify issues affecting scope, cost, schedule, quality, or performance and escalate as needed.
• Ensure timely review, closure, acceptance, and documentation of project deliverables and actions.
• Support design optimization, value engineering, and energy efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with CSA, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Commissioning, Operations, EHS, Security, and Network teams.
• Maintain issue logs, risk registers, and action plans for HAC systems.
