Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) in Singapore seeks a highly skilled DC Hall Hot Aisle Containment Technical Lead with 15+ years of mechanical engineering and project delivery experience in mission-critical facilities. You will provide technical leadership, design oversight, and coordination with clients, consultants, and vendors to deliver HAC systems across complex data center projects.

Location: On-site in Singapore. Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering required; PE or CEng preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE or CEng or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of mechanical engineering design, design management and project delivery experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of data center cooling, airflow, containment systems, and related interfaces.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide technical advice on Data Center Hall Hot Aisle Containment designs, drawings, specs, and calculations for compliance with project requirements.
• Act as primary Client Representative for HAC engineering matters with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Plan, develop, and standardize HAC engineering packages, guidelines, and technical standards.
• Lead detailed design development of HAC systems and perform critical design reviews.
• Review mechanical/electrical drawings and deliverables using Google Workspace, BIM360, 3Dx, and related platforms.
• Assess content, coordination, constructability, quality, and compliance; escalate issues impacting scope, cost, schedule, or performance.
• Ensure designs comply with OPRs, design narratives, specs, and applicable codes and standards.
• Provide engineering recommendations to support project decision-making and issue resolution.
• Perform QA/QC peer reviews of design documents and maintain issue logs and action plans.
• Coordinate with CSA, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Commissioning, Operations, EHS, Security, and Network teams to align interfaces.
