Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Lead Engineer to act as Technical Projects Director for infrastructure fit-out projects, with a focus on data centres across APAC. This role requires leading multiple activities, coordinating with Clients, Consultants and Contractors to ensure successful delivery of mechanical systems in critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in designing and managing mechanical systems for newbuild or infrastructure fit‑out projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM350, ACC and HVAC system simulation software.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Excellent project management & communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and align Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Protection drawings using cloud platforms; escalate items affecting schedule/cost.
• Attend design meetings and provide input to optimize design.
• Provide direction to partners on path forward for problems.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors to ensure alignment with standards.
• Support design studies and analyses for project optimization.
