Job summary

Quess Singapore is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable business insights. You will partner with business stakeholders and data engineering teams, lead analytical projects, uncover trends and opportunities, and develop impactful dashboards and visualisations to support data-driven decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone with strong SQL and data visualisation skills, sound business acumen, and the ability to translate complex findings into compelling data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline as listed (business analytics, data science, statistics, math, econ, CS, actuarial science).
• At least 5 years in BI or data analytics projects.
• Strong SQL programming skills and experience with large datasets.
• 5+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and requirements gathering to influence decisions.
• Strong communication skills to present complex insights to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines.
• Experience in banking/insurance/financial services is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Python is an added advantage.
• Proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented, committed to teamwork, integrity and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks and performance drivers.
• Design, develop, and enhance dashboards and visualisations using Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Define and maintain consistent metrics, analytical logic and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with data engineers to define data requirements and validate data quality.
• Independently deliver analytics projects that support strategic decisions.
• Ensure analytics solutions comply with internal policies and data governance standards.
• Proactively identify risks and stay updated on industry developments.
