You will conduct deep-dive analyses, align metric definitions with business needs, and collaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines while ensuring regulatory and policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in fields focusing on data analysis
• Minimum 5 years in BI/analytics as an individual contributor
• Minimum 5 years in data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI/QlikView)
• Minimum 5 years of SQL programming
• Ability to analyze, visualize and describe key trends within large datasets
• Strong requirements gathering, multitasking and prioritization under pressure
• Understanding of banking, insurance and financial services preferred
• Knowledge of Python preferred
• Curiosity and passion for understanding 'why?'
• Creativity to translate data into compelling stories for non-technical users
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence action using data
• High integrity, accountability and teamwork, proactive risk management

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights
• Perform deep-dive analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Design, build and enhance dashboards for ongoing business use
• Align metrics logics with latest business definitions
• Define data requirements with data engineers and validate data quality
• Define data pipelines to support analytics projects
• Ensure analytics work complies with internal and external policies
• Mitigate regulatory and compliance risks
• Keep abreast of regulatory trends to safeguard the company
• Share best risk management practices

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics/Statistics/Economics/Actuarial Science/Data Science/CS/Math or equivalent
