Job summary

ICE Data Services is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to lead data quality initiatives and design scalable workflows for ETD and global exchange products. You will drive automation, build SQL/Python data pipelines, and collaborate with internal teams and data vendors to ensure accurate data delivery.

The role requires deep ETD knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience with BI tools. You will support training and adoption of market data tools in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BSc in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in market data, analytics, business analysis, or BI roles (seniority dependent).
• Proven experience in the financial services industry, preferably covering derivatives markets.
• Strong working knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives and global exchange products is a plus.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for querying and optimizing large datasets.
• Strong Python skills for automation, analytics, and data validation.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Kibana).
• Solid understanding of market data content types (pricing, real time, reference, derived).
• Experience with APIs, data integration, and data distribution systems.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills, with data quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Own end to end market data for Commodities and Equities derivatives, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Design and implement scalable workflows, validation rules, and automation processes.
• Build and maintain SQL and Python based data pipelines, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
• Develop automated solutions to streamline data processing with robust quality control techniques.
• Investigate and resolve complex data quality issues related to contract specs and pricing data.
• Partner with Product, R&D, Engineering, and Operations on requirements and enhancements.
• Manage relationships with exchanges and data vendors for accurate data ingestion.
• Provide SME on ETD markets, exchange rules, and product structures.
• Support user training and adoption of market data tools and platforms.
