ICE is seeking a data engineer to manage securities data with a focus on fixed income. You will join a structured onboarding program and independently handle data for client use cases and internal analytics.

The role emphasizes parsing legal and vendor data, validating accuracy, and collaborating with pricing and analytics teams. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Strong data literacy and ability to extract insights from dense documents.
• Experience with reference data, market data, or fixed income data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Parse, interpret, and transform structured and unstructured financial data into normalized reference fields.
• Apply rule-based and judgment-driven methods to complex cases.
• Perform multi-layer validation checks for data completeness and business-rule conformance.
• Investigate root causes of data anomalies and contribute to resolution playbooks.
• Monitor data pipelines for drift, gaps, and outliers; escalate issues with evidence.
• Prepare client-facing explanations including methodology and conclusions.
• Collaborate with Evaluated Pricing, Index, Analytics to clarify data requirements.
• Source authoritative documentation from issuers and trustees with audit trails.
