Job summary

Firstpointe School of Dance in Singapore is seeking a capable studio operations lead to act in the absence of the Artistic Director. You will manage instructors, coordinate events, and ensure smooth class scheduling to support a dynamic dance education environment.

The role requires weekend availability, experience in ballet coaching, choreography, and versatility across lyrical and contemporary styles. You will participate in weekly operations meetings and help organize showcases to promote

Qualifications

• RAD Teaching Certification is required.
• Experience in teaching or coaching classical variations.
• Ability to choreograph routines.
• Versatility across lyrical and contemporary styles.
• Must be able to work full weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily studio operations in the absence of the Artistic Director.
• Supervise and support instructors to maintain high teaching standards.
• Resolve parent and student concerns promptly.
• Manage class schedules and substitutions to ensure continuity.
• Hold instructor briefings and communicate updates clearly.
• Organize showcases, events, and competitions to promote engagement.
• Assist in hiring/training new instructors.
• Attend weekly operations meetings.
• Deliver 110 teaching hours per month to support student learning.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead daily studio operations during the Artistic Director’s absence to maintain seamless workflow and studio performance.


• Supervise and support instructors to ensure high-quality teaching and adherence to studio standards.


• Resolve parent and student complaints promptly to maintain positive relationships and satisfaction.


• Manage class schedules and coordinate substitutions to optimize instructor availability and class continuity.


• Conduct instructor briefings to communicate updates, expectations, and instructional goals effectively.


• Organize and coordinate showcases, events, and competitions to promote student engagement and studio visibility.


• Assist in hiring and training new instructors to build a skilled and cohesive teaching team.


• Participate in weekly operations meetings to align studio activities with strategic objectives.


• Deliver110 teaching hours per month to contribute directly to student learning and studio offerings.
