Job summary

Dancepointe Academy seeks a Dance Teacher to deliver classical ballet instruction and develop engaging classroom resources. You will identify student needs to aid development and participate in academy events including concerts and public performances.

Applicants should have RAD/CSTD advanced qualifications or a dance diploma; teaching experience is preferred, and strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential for parent interviews and staff collaboration.

Qualifications

• Min RAD / CSTD Advanced One Certificate of Achievement or Dance Diploma/Degree.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• RAD Teaching Certificate considered an added advantage.
• Self-motivated and independent.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engaging resources for the classroom.
• Identify students' needs and support each child's development.
• Participate in Dancepointe Academy events such as concerts and public performances.
• Conduct parent-teacher interviews and open house twice yearly.
• Attend professional development sessions to improve teaching methods and maintain curriculum currency.
• Present a professional image in dressing and conduct.
