Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Strategic Principal Consultant to lead large, complex engagements and work directly with client leadership to mature cybersecurity programs. You will guide incident response readiness, develop threat-informed scenarios, and deliver high-quality executive-facing reports and recommendations.

The role demands outstanding written and verbal communications, a track record of strategic influence, and willingness to travel up to 30% to engage clients globally.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years in IT/Security management consulting or equivalent leadership roles.
• Experience building and managing security programs (SOC/CSIRT/fusion centers) and mature risk frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to executives and boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex strategic advisory engagements with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Assess and mature cybersecurity and incident response programs before and after incidents.
• Develop threat-informed scenarios to test and exercise incident response capabilities.
• Produce high-quality reports, findings, and recommendations for customer management.
• Demonstrate thought leadership through blog posts and speaking engagements.
• Identify emerging cybersecurity trends and translate them into actionable plans.
• Manage internal programs and teams, and support staffing for engagements.
• Engage in sales and business development opportunities as appropriate.
