Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; with experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, credit risk management.
• 7-10 years' experience in credit analysis / credit approval in banking; structured credit preferred.
• Strong credit analysis and due diligence skills; able to prepare clear credit recommendations.
• Excellent organizing and planning skills; team player.
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Independently review and assess various types of credit applications; prepare concise executive summaries for approvals.
• Establish action plans for credits likely to deteriorate to minimize costs.
• Maintain accuracy of credit monitoring system and client database; instruct units to modify data if needed.
• Conduct credit portfolio analysis by country, corporate groups, industry segments, currency risks, internal grading, and product type.
• Support development of credit risk guidelines and framework in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Discuss direction of potential deals with business units following policy and risk appetite.
• No immediate approval authority, with potential expansion based on performance and experience.
