Job summary

You will establish cost control systems, monitor expenditure, prepare forecasts and provide timely financial information to support project management. The role requires strong analytical skills and seven years of relevant experience in cost control, budgeting and reporting, with proficiency in Excel

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline as listed.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction cost control or related fields.
• Hospital/healthcare project experience preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with cost monitoring, budgets, variations and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage project cost control procedures and systems.
• Develop and maintain the project budget, cost breakdown, and control reports.
• Monitor expenditure against budgets and committed costs.
• Track commitments, procurement, subcontract costs, and variations.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts and financial performance reports.
• Identify cost overruns, savings opportunities and risks.
• Coordinate with Contract, Planning, Procurement and Project teams.
• Review subcontractor and supplier commitments and variation costs.
• Support cost control during project close-out and final reporting.
