Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join the Commercial and Regulatory Legal Team in Singapore. You will manage commercial contracts, strategic partnerships, and product market expansion, while advising business units on regulatory, data privacy, and financial crime matters.

You’ll support sales and product teams on launches and expansions, coordinating with external counsel as needed and ensuring compliance across geographies.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in recognised common law jurisdictions with 5+ years’ PQE.
• Experience in payments, fintech or financial services is advantageous.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Provide practical legal advice to sales, product and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements relating to products, partnerships, technology providers and card networks.
• Provide commercial legal support to sales, product and business teams for new products, services, partnerships and geographic expansion.
• Advise on regulatory and licensing, data privacy, security and financial crime matters in commercial contexts.
• Coordinate external counsel and manage regulatory compliance considerations in product expansion.
