Job summary

Cheil Worldwide is seeking a Senior Copywriter to develop compelling social and digital brand communications and drive regional content excellence across markets.

The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller who translates marketing objectives into consumer-facing messages, develops Tone & Manner, master messaging, and copy frameworks for RHQ-led initiatives while ensuring consistency across markets.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, Language & Literature or Arts.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in social, digital or integrated advertising and campaigns.
• Ability to adapt voice across platforms and write in various tones.
• Excellent grammar and copy editing skills; strong proofreading eye.
• Storytelling and messaging development for regional campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop Regional Tone & Manner guidelines and master copy for RHQ-led campaigns and content initiatives.
• Establish key messages, headlines, taglines, and copy frameworks aligned with brand positioning and communication objectives.
• Create compelling copy for social and digital content; adapt messaging across platforms.
• Provide creative guidance to Production Center for platform and local market copy variations while maintaining master messaging integrity.
• Review and ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of copy across markets and platforms.
• Translate marketing strategies into clear, consumer-friendly messages for diverse audiences.
• Prepare and present creative concepts and copy proposals to internal stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

• Ability to adopt different points of view and write in various tones of voice.
• Experience developing social and digital copy, with an understanding of how messaging, tone and copy formats should adapt across different social platforms.
• Able to decipher marketing speak and translate marketing jargons into consumer-friendly sentences.
• A sharp eye for spotting bad grammar and misspellings a must.
• Positive attitude and collaborative mindset a plus.
