Job description

You’ll play a key role in making sure our ships sail full, efficient, and on schedule balancing customer demands, operational constraints, and commercial priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Managing vessel space– ensuring ships are well-utilised across different trade routes

• Planning cargo allocation– tactical decision making based on booking development.

• Monitoring bookings– tracking how quickly space is filling up and adjusting plans when needed

• Making real-time decisions– prioritising cargo when space is limited or disruptions occur

• Working with global teams– coordinating with planners, commercial teams, and customer service across regions

• Handling operational challenges– e.g. delays, transshipment connections, or special cargo requirements

• Improving performance– supporting KPIs such as vessel utilisation, booking response time, and on‑time loading
