Job summary

Four Seasons Food Central Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Cook to join our kitchen team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Indian and/or Chinese cuisine, able to prepare quality dishes, and support daily kitchen operations with a focus on hygiene and safety.

You will maintain high standards of food presentation, assist in planning and ordering ingredients, and guide junior cooks. Shift work, weekends and public holidays may be required to meet catering needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant cooking experience.
• Experience in Indian cuisine or Chinese cuisine.
• Able to work in a fast-paced F&B environment.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and kitchen hygiene.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Cook with strong knowledge of Indian and/or Chinese cuisine to join our kitchen team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quality dishes, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting the smooth daily operation of the kitchen

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Indian or Chinese dishes according to company recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portion control.
• Assist in planning daily food preparation and production.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, spices and other cooking components.
• Monitor food quality, freshness and storage conditions.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food in accordance with SFA requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
• Assist with ordering and checking of kitchen ingredients when required.
• Guide and supervise junior cooks and kitchen helpers.
• Ensure food is prepared and served according to required timings.
• Assist with catering orders and large-volume food preparation when required.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
