CAREERNEXUS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Commercial/Contracts professional for civil projects in Singapore. The role involves leading RFQ responses, drafting and negotiating contracts, and coordinating with project managers to ensure timely claims and effective cost control.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in civil works, strong skills in AutoCAD/Primavera/MS Project, and the ability to manage high-value portfolios with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, QS, or related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years in civil works with quantity surveying or contract administration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director to formulate strategic responses for RFQs, guiding pre-tender through to award.
• Draft and evaluate contracts; review commercial terms with clients and sub-contractors to protect interests.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to enable accurate monthly progress claims, track VOs, and lead final account negotiations with main contractors and Quantity Surveyors.
• Formulate project budgets and cash flow projections with the finance team to drive budget optimization.
• Negotiate and award sub-contractor packages; analyze project scopes with drawings for effective commercial administration.
• Attend site meetings and provide ongoing commercial and financial guidance to site engineers and stakeholders.
