Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Consultant - IT PMO Banking Data Governance with PMO experience to lead governance-driven initiatives in a regulated banking context.

The role emphasizes data governance, BCBS239 alignment, and cross-functional collaboration with Risk, Finance, and Data Management teams. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of relevant experience in PMO or governance projects, strong stakeholder management, and familiarity with data governance tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Data Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in project coordination, PMO, governance, or transformation initiatives (total experience not more than 12 years).
• Expertise in project management methodologies and governance processes, including planning, status reporting, RAID management, issue tracking, and change control.
• Experience in preparing project documentation, management reports, meeting minutes, governance materials, and stakeholder presentations.
• Experience supporting IT, regulatory, data governance, risk management, or transformation projects within Banking/Financial Services is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Prior BCBS239, data governance, or regulatory-driven initiatives experience is preferred.
• Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or equivalent platforms is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a consulting firm is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, status reports, and remediation plans with timely follow-up and closure of deliverables.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Data Management teams, and external vendors to manage dependencies and support issue/risk resolution.
• Support planning, development, and maintenance of project scope, milestones, governance frameworks, roadmaps, and documentation.
• Track and ensure compliance with PMO governance requirements, reporting standards, and documentation controls.
• Manage and maintain project repositories, governance artefacts, lessons learned, and knowledge management documentation.
• Prepare and consolidate project status updates, management reports, meeting materials, and governance documentation.
• Coordinate project meetings, capture key decisions, and follow through on actions to ensure governance adherence.

Job Summary:

We are seeing a Senior Consultant - IT PMO Banking Data Governance with PMO experience in managing data governance project. Experience in BCBS239, data governance, data management, or other regulatory-driven initiatives is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, status reports, and remediation plans, ensuring timely follow-up, escalation, and closure of project deliverables and outstanding items.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Risk, Finance, Data Management teams, and external vendors, to manage dependencies, facilitate communication, and support the resolution of project issues and risks.
• Support the planning, development, and maintenance of project scope, milestones, governance frameworks, delivery roadmaps, and project documentation in alignment with established project management methodologies and standards.
• Track and ensure compliance with PMO governance requirements, project management frameworks, reporting standards, and documentation controls, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions where necessary.
• Manage and maintain project repositories, governance artefacts, lessons learned, and knowledge management documentation to ensure information accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across project teams.
• Prepare and consolidate project status updates, management reports, meeting materials, and governance documentation to support effective project oversight and stakeholder decision-making.
• Coordinate project meetings, capture key decisions and action items, and follow through on deliverables to ensure successful project execution and governance adherence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Data Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in project coordination, PMO, project management, governance, or transformation initiatives. Over all experience not more than 12 years

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders and clients at various levels.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in BCBS239, data governance, data management, or other regulatory-driven initiatives is preferred.
• Experience working with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or equivalent platforms is advantageous.
• Previous experience gained within a consulting firm is highly preferred.
