Job summary

SUN MARINE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Project Manager with proven expertise in the Singapore construction sector. You will drive project execution, commercial management, and cost control to ensure profitable delivery.

Responsibilities include planning schedules, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, monitoring costs, and managing contracts and variations. Strong leadership and cost-awareness are essential for timely, quality project handovers.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry.
• Must have started their career as a Quantity Surveyor and progressed into project management.
• Proven experience in costing, budgeting, cost forecasting, contract administration, variation claims, and subcontract management.
• Experience in managing project delays, cost overruns, and recovery plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from commencement to completion, delivering on time and within budget.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, resources, procurement, and construction activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, cost-to-complete forecasts, and overall profitability.
• Manage contracts, variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Identify delays, cost overruns, and commercial risks, and implement corrective actions.
