Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Engineer to coordinate and manage construction activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met. You will work with the Project Manager to develop programmes and monitor progress.

You will review drawings, liaise with consultants, conduct site inspections, coordinate subcontractors and site teams, assess risks and safety, track costs and prepare progress and technical reports for management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities to meet project objectives, schedules and quality standards.
• Work with the Project Manager to develop project programmes, monitor progress and resolve construction-related issues.
• Review architectural, structural and engineering drawings to identify discrepancies and ensure design feasibility.
• Liaise with consultants to follow up on technical submissions, approvals and MOS.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship, methods and compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and site teams for smooth execution.
• Identify technical challenges, assess project risks and propose practical solutions.
• Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with workplace requirements and project procedures.
• Track project costs, review contractor invoices and assess variation claims per contract.
• Prepare progress and technical reports for management review.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site personnel.

• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.

• Identify technical challenges, assess project risks and recommend practical solutions.

• Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety requirements and project procedures.

• Track project costs, review contractor invoices and assess variation claims in accordance with contractual requirements.

• Prepare progress reports, technical reports and project documentation for management review.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site personnel.

• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Head of Engineering or Project Management Team.
