Job summary

Manpower Singapore is seeking an experienced Compliance Testing professional to support regulatory requirements and internal governance. You will execute testing reviews, evaluate control effectiveness, and identify gaps across banking or financial services operations.

You will develop practical remediation recommendations, prepare clear reports for management, and collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Business teams while leveraging data analytics and automation to improve testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance, Banking, Accountancy or any related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Compliance Testing, Compliance Assurance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Operational Risk, or Control Testing within a banking or financial services environment.
• Excellent understanding of banking operations, processes, risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience performing control testing, compliance reviews, risk assessments, or audit engagements.
• Good analytical and investigative skills with the ability to identify root causes and assess control effectiveness.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in reviewing documentation and testing results.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
• Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Experience preparing testing reports, audit findings, and management recommendations.
• Knowledge of operational risk management frameworks, internal controls, and governance practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data analytics tools, automation solutions, or AI-assisted assurance activities will be good to have.

Responsibilities

• Execute compliance testing reviews according to approved plans and governance.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify control weaknesses and compliance gaps.
• Develop risk-based remediation recommendations.
• Prepare testing reports and present findings to management.
• Engage stakeholders to discuss findings and remediation plans.
• Validate closure of actions and track remediation progress.
• Maintain documentation of tests, evidence, and closures.
• Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies and governance.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Business teams.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve testing.
