Job summary

Sembcorp in Singapore is seeking a Business Development professional to originate, develop and close a pipeline of solar and renewable energy opportunities, engage customers and stakeholders to understand requirements, and prepare bids for large-scale Government tenders.

You will use CRM to capture details, prepare investment papers with cross-functional teams, and help maintain project approvals through Investment Committee.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development and/or commercial roles in energy/renewables.
• Ability to build and analyze financial models and assess project economics.

Responsibilities

• Originate, develop and close pipeline of solar and renewable energy opportunities.
• Engage customers and key stakeholders to understand requirements and develop commercial solutions.
• Lead and coordinate the submission of bids for large-scale Government Tenders.
• Diligently use CRM as the key platform to capture all customer details, process governance and maintain customer relationships.
• Prepare investment papers and work with Group Functions to seek project approval from the Investment Committee.
