Job summary

Airwallex in Singapore seeks an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to design, build, and scale our global network across AWS and GCP.

You will automate infrastructure with Terraform, manage multi-region connectivity, and contribute to secure Landing Zones while collaborating with Security, DevOps, and Platform teams.

The role emphasizes availability, regulatory alignment, and fast delivery in a high-growth fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and operating AWS network environments at scale.
• Proficiency in Terraform or equivalent IaC for provisioning cloud network components.
• Practical experience with GCP networking concepts or multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Linux distributions, scripting (Python or Bash), and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize highly available multi-region cloud networks.
• Automate cloud networks using Terraform through CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage cross-cloud connectivity with AWS and GCP.
• Serve as escalation point for complex cloud networking issues.
• Collaborate with Security, DevOps, and Platform teams on secure Landing Zones.
