Job summary

Ascendion in Singapore seeks an experienced Lead Software & Platform Engineer to modernise complex financial trading technology platforms. You will focus on cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and microservices to build reliable, scalable services supporting front office trading operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software and platform engineering experience.
• 1 Hands-on experience with Node.js, C#/.NET or equivalent backend tech.
• 2 Experience with AWS and/or Azure architectures.
• 3 Strong expertise in distributed systems and microservices.
• 4 Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and serverless technologies.
• 5 Focus on performance, scalability, resilience and observability.
• 6 Hands-on with front office trading platforms or systems.
• 7 Related experience in electronic trading, order management, pricing or market data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and modernise backend applications and platform services.
