Job summary

StarHub is seeking a DevOps & Application Engineer to administer IAM and SSO, ensuring reliability, security, and scalable cloud-native platforms. You will manage day-to-day operations and contribute to future IAM implementations.

The role requires 4+ years in IAM/DevOps within telco settings, strong scripting, SQL, and AWS experience, plus collaboration across teams. On-site Singapore office, with after-hours support on rotation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, computer engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in systems analysis, DevOps, Cloud or operational support in telco environments.
• Strong IAM fundamentals: SSO, MFA, RBAC, identity lifecycle and knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP.
• Implemented or supported IAM integrations for enterprise or digital platforms.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of Java.
• AWS core services, IAM security and cost optimization.
• Linux internals, networking, and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps, CI/CD, cloud infra, REST/SOAP APIs; certification is a plus.
• Experience with ITSM tools like Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow.
• Hands-on knowledge of Symantec SiteMinder and Symantec Directory.
• Understand identity-related threats and controls.
• Experience scripting or automation for day-to-day tasks.
• Experience supporting audits and compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain current IAM and SSO systems.
• Administrate platform and ensure availability and robustness.
• Interact with vendors for timely and reliable support.
• Resolve incidents and monitor SLAs across levels.
• Collaborate on change requests, fixes, and security remediations.
• Work with cross-domain teams to ensure security compliance.
• Establish observability with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and PagerDuty workflows.
• Document technical details and transfer knowledge to the team.
• Provide after-hours support on a rotating basis.
