Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or GCP. You will implement IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation, manage containers with Docker and Kubernetes, and drive CI/CD automation with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

You will contribute to monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK, and reinforce cloud security best practices including IAM and VPC controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud engineering or DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Bridge software development and IT operations in a DevOps/SRE context.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical systems and incident response.
