Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate scalable cloud platforms on AWS with IaC, CI/CD, observability, and DevSecOps best practices. You will ensure security, reliability, and maintainability while collaborating across teams and mentoring others.

Minimum 5 years in software engineering and cloud infrastructure, with strong AWS, Terraform, Docker, and distributed systems experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Software Engineering and DevOps/cloud infrastructure roles.
• Proven track record building scalable cloud platforms or shared infrastructure.
• Experience driving cross-team engineering standards or platform adoption.
• Bonus: Prior experience working on Government projects on GCC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable cloud platforms on AWS.
• Deliver production-ready software across multiple components with IaC, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and DevSecOps best practices.
• Ensure security, reliability, and maintainability while working independently and with teams.
• Mentor teammates and help shape engineering standards and practices.
