Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited is seeking a seasoned Database Specialist to tackle large-scale database challenges and help customers migrate and optimize Oracle-based solutions on AWS. You will collaborate with sales, architects, and partners to design robust cloud database architectures and drive adoption of AWS database services.

The role emphasizes customer collaboration, solution design, and ongoing education of teams on analytics and database strategies within a global cloud

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across technology domains (software, cloud, data).
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications/infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Design customer solutions collaborating with AWS field sales, presales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use Amazon Aurora.
• Define a Databse & Analytics engagement strategy with Solution Architects, Account Managers, Professional Services and Partners.
• Provide global thought leadership on Analytics solutions via AWS publications, Whitepapers, reference architectures, and internal training for AWS teams.
• Work as a key member of the business development and account management team to ensure customer success migrating applications on AWS.
• Assist solution providers with technical and business strategy definition and implementation.
• Capture and share best practices within the AWS solution architect community.
• Identify key use cases and reference architectures for AWS market segments and verticals.
