Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited seeks a Sr. Specialist Solutions Architect for Database Migration. You will lead complex migrations, leveraging DMS, Schema Conversion, and GenAI tooling to move customers to Aurora, RDS, and Amazon DSQL.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in tech, 3+ years in design/implementation, and 10+ years in IT. You will mentor SAs, contribute to thought leadership, and engage with customers across industries from Singapore.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (cloud, software, data).
• 3+ years in design/implementation/consulting for apps/infrastructure.
• 10+ years in IT development or implementation in software/Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep customer engagements on database migrations to AWS-native targets.
• Serve as domain expert across migration toolchain (DMS, Schema Conversion).
• Investigate migration challenges hands-on to unblock timelines.
• Build prototypes, demos, and reusable artifacts for engagements using GenAI tools.
• Represent customer voice to influence product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to GTM and account teams.
• Act as a thought leader through AWS blogs, whitepapers, workshops, events.
• Create scalable field enablement and mentor other SAs.
