Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations PTE LTD seeks a Senior Construction Mechanical Engineer to lead building mechanical construction for semiconductor fab and cleanroom environments, ensuring safety, cost, schedule, quality, and sustainability.

You will oversee HVAC, exhaust, chilled water, and utility systems, coordinating with electrical, I&C, and process teams, reviewing designs, and driving commissioning and handover to production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 8–12+ years of mechanical engineering experience in semiconductor fab, cleanroom, or high‑tech industrial projects.
• Proven experience leading cleanroom HVAC, exhaust, and utility systems through commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of contamination control principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical coordination with Electrical, I&C, Process, CSA, and tool-hookup teams.
• Review and approve mechanical design packages, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Ensure full compliance with Global Facilities Mechanical and Cleanroom standards.
• Lead the discussion for mechanical RFIs, deviations, and field changes.
• Lead mechanical readiness for cleanroom pressurization, temperature, humidity, pressure and airflow compliance, and RFE/RFM milestones.
