Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Senior Construction Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage building mechanical construction for our semiconductor fab and cleanrooms.

You will oversee design, installation, commissioning and handover of HVAC, exhaust and process utilities, ensuring safety, cost, schedule, quality and contamination-control goals to support Ready For Manufacturing milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 8-12+ years of mechanical engineering experience in semiconductor fab, cleanroom, or high-tech industrial projects.
• Proven experience leading cleanroom HVAC, exhaust, and utility systems through commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of contamination control principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical systems design and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with electrical, I&C, and tool hookup teams on-site.
• Manage RFIs, deviations, and field changes with technical justification.
• Oversee commissioning plans and RFE/RFM readiness.
• Handover documentation and transition to operations.
• Provide safety leadership for mechanical discipline and regulatory compliance.
