Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Steel Structure) in Singapore to plan and design civil and structural works, including tunnels, facilities, utilities and drainage.

You will review and verify structural deliverables, lead design submissions to clients and authorities, and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and construction teams, ensuring quality through PQP-compliant document control and regular client meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in analysis and design of concrete and steel structures.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Strong communication and contract knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design Civil and Structural works including tunnels and facilities.
• Review and verify civil/structural engineering deliverables and drawings.
• Lead design submissions to clients and authorities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors; attend meetings.

Planning and designing of Civil and Structural worksincluding tunnel, facility building, utility & drainage structures and anyother structures included in the project.
Review and verify all Civil and Structural related engineering works compliantto requirement and designed in optimized manner.
Lead and/or participate in technical discussions with relevant parties such asclients, QPS, subcontractors and construction team
Review and check civil/structural engineering deliverables such as concrete andsteel drawings, 3-D models, calculations, specifications and materialrequisitions submitted by consultant
Lead and manage formal design submission to clients and relevant Authorities
Lead and manage structural shop drawings development and submission
Support co-ordination with architectural consultant
Co-ordinate with authorities, client and consultants
Attending regular meeting with client, consultant and other relevant parties
Reviewing subcontractor’s shop drawing, risk assessment, safe work proceduresand method statements
Ensure that document control and site records are properly updated incompliance to project quality plan (PQP)
Adhoc duties assigned by the pro director

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 8 years relevant experience in the analysis and design of concrete andsteel structures and coordination of multi-discipline design
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering deliverables such as drawings,specifications and material requisitions and of construction methods forconcrete and steel structures
Proficient knowledge of structural design and analysis software and AutoCAD orMicro station
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in contract law, contract drafting and contract administration is aplus.
