Job summary

Achieve Group is seeking a planning engineer for a renowned building and construction firm in Singapore. You will develop and maintain master construction programmes, and coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to monitor progress and manage schedules.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline and proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. Experience in main contractor environments is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience in building construction planning is required.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update the master construction programme for building projects.
• Prepare detailed work schedules, construction sequences and project timelines.
• Monitor site progress against the programme and identify delays or risks.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and look-ahead schedules.

Our client, a renowned building & construction firm, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a planning engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, maintain and update the master construction programme for building projects.
• Prepare detailed work schedules, construction sequences and project timelines in accordance with project requirements
• Monitor actual site progress against the approved programme and identify potential delays or schedule risks
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders on project planning and progress
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules and progress updates for management and client meetings

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
• Relevant planning experience within the building construction industry
• Experience working with a main contractor will be advantageous
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
