Job summary

Achieve Group invites an experienced Senior Architect to join a leading engineering and construction firm delivering mega EPC projects across life sciences, data centers and semiconductors in Singapore.

You will oversee design, detailing, and construction supervision, develop architectural systems, ensure compliance with local codes, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients and the Commercial Group on cost during programming and design phases.

Qualifications

• Master/Degree in Architecture.
• 10-12 years professional experience including 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• At least 10 years of Design and Construction experience in high-tech or multi-discipline construction.
• Experience in Singapore with knowledge of local Authority Laws.
• Strong problem solving, technical communication and leadership abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of local codes and regulations for design implementation.
• Stakeholder management and influential leadership.
• Ability to mentor senior architects and drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, detailing, specification prep and construction supervision for architectural packages in EPC projects (life sciences, data centers, semiconductors).
• Develop architectural systems designs and collaborate on costs during programming, conceptual and detailed design phases.
• Ensure designs comply with local authority codes.
• Set and define sustainability targets.
• Review architectural system designs for client requirements compliance.
• Evaluate all architectural tender documentation.
• Implement and track design checklists.
• Coordinate internal design reviews with the COC.
• Represent the Architecture Department in client meetings.
• Compile lessons learned and brief the COC.
• Develop recovery plans for design, cost and schedule issues.
• Mentor senior architects to support growth.

Our client is a Engineering and construction company that specializes designing and delivering mega and significant projects. They are looking for an experienced Senior Architect for their expanding business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee design, detailing, specification preparation, and construction supervision for various architectural packages, focusing on advanced technology and EPC projects such as life sciences, data centers, and semiconductors.


• Develop architectural systems designs and collaborate with the Commercial Group to establish costs during the programming, conceptual, and detailed design phases for large and complex advanced technology and all EPC related projects such as life sciences, data centers, and semiconductors.


• Ensure all designs comply with local authority codes.


• Set and define sustainability targets.


• Review architectural system designs created by team members for technical compliance with client/customer requirements.


• Evaluate all architectural tender documentation.


• Implement and track design checklists.


• Coordinate internal design reviews with the support of the COC.


• Represent the Architecture Department in monthly client meetings.


• Compile lessons learned and brief the COC accordingly.


• Develop recovery plans for design, cost, and schedule issues.


• Mentor senior architects to ensure proper training and support the company's continuous growth.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master/Degree in Architecture with 10 - 12 years professional related experience including 5 years in a leadership capacity


• At least 10 years of Design and Construction experience in a high-tech industry or other multiple discipline orientated construction business


• Worked in Singapore and fully aware of the Singapore local Authority Laws and


• Affinity for technical problem solving


• Proficient and confident in technical Communication


• Extensive knowledge of local codes and regulations for design implementation


• Leadership to influence
