Job summary

MEINHARDT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a senior Civil Engineer to lead design and project delivery for civil and infrastructure assignments in Singapore. You will review plans, perform calculations, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and architects to ensure quality outcomes.

Applicants should have a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 8 years in civil projects, with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team to meet tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in civil projects, preferably in an engineering consultancy.
• Strong technical background in conceptual and detailed civil design.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to meet tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil and environmental design documentation and drawings, perform design calculations.
• Perform analysis and studies for projects assigned.
• Review and ensure projects comply with standards and client requirements.
• Prepare tender specification, documentation and other materials for bidding.
• Communicate proactively with clients, contractors and other parties involved.
• Supervise junior engineers and drafters.
• Identify and resolve technical / site problems.
• Attend design, clients, architects and site meetings.
