Job summary

CKMbT International Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Project Manager to support the delivery of a major infrastructure development project in Singapore. The role requires leading project management, contract administration, progress monitoring and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in project management, contract administration or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in managing large-scale civil engineering, infrastructure or building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, including Variation Orders (VO), Extension of Time (EOT), progress claims and contractual disputes.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction contracts, including PSSCOC, is an advantage.
• Experience in project scheduling, delay analysis, cost control and risk management.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project planning software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications and approved schedules.
• Administer construction contracts, including assessment of Variation Orders, Extension of Time applications and contractual claims.
• Review contractors' work programmes, progress reports, method statements and technical submissions.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and recommend mitigation measures.
• Evaluate progress payment claims, variations and associated cost implications.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and relevant stakeholders to resolve project and contractual issues.
• Conduct and attend project progress meetings, technical discussions and coordination meetings.
• Prepare contractual correspondence, progress reports, assessment reports and recommendations.
• Monitor construction quality, project milestones and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover, defects rectification and project close-out activities.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior project personnel.
