Job summary

RRecruiter is seeking a civil infrastructure professional in Singapore to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts. The role focuses on meeting project requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering timely submissions for complex rail, road, and underground works.

The position requires strong leadership, planning and communication skills, with a track record in coordinating with authorities and clients to optimise designs and control costs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of civil engineering/infrastructure experience, including complex rail or road or underground design projects.
• Experience in authority submissions, regulatory compliance, client coordination, and relevant codes of practice and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with sound planning and organisational abilities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and technical team in coordinating multidisciplinary design works to meet project requirements, client specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities to ensure design integration and compliance.
• Monitor design schedules and submission milestones for temporary and permanent works in line with the construction programme.
• Identify design optimisation opportunities to reduce construction costs.
• Provide technical solutions for complex site issues, resolve design discrepancies, and support project planning and execution.
• Guide and allocate tasks to design engineers to meet project requirements.
