Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is assisting a renowned building & construction firm in hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to lead technical directions on civil and structural works.

The role focuses on coordinating between design and construction teams, ensuring design intent is implemented, and overseeing temporary works and architectural coordination on site. Experience in water-related infrastructure is advantageous, with strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of Civil & Structural engineering experience; exposure to water or water-related infrastructure projects would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Civil & Structural engineering principles, permanent and temporary works design, as well as architectural coordination.
• Good stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to drive timely resolution of design and construction matters.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical direction and support to the engineering team, working closely with the Design Manager to address design-related matters and submissions.
• Serve as a key technical interface between the design and construction teams, ensuring temporary works are implemented in accordance with approved requirements and site conditions. Coordinate with responsible site personnel on design intent, monitor changes encountered during construction, and initiate design reviews or revisions with the Designer where necessary.
• Coordinate closely with site operations, consultants and relevant stakeholders to resolve engineering matters and ensure contractual and Client requirements are properly addressed.
• Oversee architectural-related elements of the construction works and ensure effective coordination with other disciplines.
