Job summary

Reputable A1 Main Contractor in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead civil construction projects on site, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver complex programs.

• Based primarily on site and responsible for day-to-day project management and coordination
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage project submissions, approvals, construction schedules and key project milestones
• Oversee project planning, site operations, cost control, quality, safety, progress reporting and resource coordination
• Identify opportunities to improve construction methodology, efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Monitor project performance and provide regular progress updates to senior management
• Lead internal project and coordination meetings
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, relevant authorities and subcontractors
• Provide technical and project input for tender preparation when required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage project submissions, approvals, construction schedules and key project milestones

• Provide technical and project input for tender preparation when requiredDegree in Engineering or a relevant professional engineering qualification recognised in Singapore
• Approximately 10 years of project management experience within the civil construction industry
• Proven experience managing civil engineering projects of similar scale and complexity
• Experience in water infrastructure, wastewater, used-water treatment plants or similar process/infrastructure projects would be advantageous
• Possess a valid Construction Safety Course for Project Managers (CSCPM) certification or an equivalent recognised qualification

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Engineering/Construction related disciplines or equivalent field from a recognized institution
• Knowledge of planning processes, tools etc.
• At least 3 Years of relevant experience in the construction and building industry. Preferably specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
