Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) – Singapore registration or working towards (preferred).
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
• Familiarity with Singapore codes and authority requirements (e.g., PUB, LTA, BCA).
• Membership with Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of civil and site infrastructure works including roads, stormwater drainage, and underground utilities.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Design earthworks, grading, pavements, and utility networks (water, sewer, power corridors).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, structural, BIM) to ensure integrated site design.
• Support authority submissions (e.g., PUB, LTA, BCA) and approvals processes.
• Provide technical input during construction, site inspections, and issue resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and support capability building within the civil team.
• Promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (Tasks)

Technical Leadership & Design (Site Infrastructure)

• Lead the design of civil and site infrastructure works including roads, stormwater drainage, and underground utilities
• Prepare and review detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Design earthworks, grading, pavements, and utility networks (water, sewer, power corridors)
• Ensure designs align with project requirements, local authority standards, and best practices

Project Delivery

• Manage civil engineering packages from concept through detailed design to construction support
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, structural, BIM) to ensure integrated site design
• Support authority submissions (e.g., PUB, LTA, BCA) and approvals processes
• Provide technical input during construction, site inspections, and issue resolution

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and government authorities on design and delivery matters
• Participate in technical meetings and provide expert guidance on civil engineering solutions
• Support project managers in delivering outcomes aligned with client expectations
• Mentor junior engineers and support capability building within the civil team
• Promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing
• Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture
• Identify opportunities to improve design efficiency, constructability, and sustainability
• Support the adoption of digital engineering and BIM in civil design workflows
• Stay updated with evolving standards, design tools, and infrastructure trends

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) – Singapore registration or working towards (preferred)
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
• Familiarity with Singapore codes and authority requirements (e.g., PUB, LTA, BCA)
• Membership with Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) or equivalent preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Senior Civil Engineer / Civil & Structural Engineer within consultancy or infrastructure projects
• Strong experience in roads, drainage, and utilities design, particularly for building site developments or industrial/data centre sites
• Related structural engineering experience would be beneficial
• Solid understanding of Singapore authority requirements and submission processes
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary infrastructure design
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A proactive, solutions-driven approach with attention to detail and delivery excellence
