Job summary

AH BOON CIVIL ENGINEERING & BUILDING CONTRACTOR PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced site supervisor to plan and control project execution on site. You will prepare manpower, machinery and materials requirements and confirm the duration of critical activities and the construction programme. You will delegate duties, coordinate site progress, prepare progress reports for claims and verify subcontractor work. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and relevant certificates.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction field.
• Preferably with Class 3 Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control the execution of the project; prepare manpower, machinery and materials requirement on site.
• Regulates current activities with regards to work methods, technical solutions, resources input and other operational details.
• Delegate duties to Foreman, Project Engineers, Safety Officer, Quantity Surveyor and Site Clerk.
• Coordinate site progress: manpower and machinery utilisation, mobilisation schedule, payment certification, site disputes and site facilities planning.
• Communicate and maintain public relations with relevant parties and local authorities.
• Prepare and compile site progress reports for progress claims and monitoring project activities.
• Verify work done by subcontractors.
• Carry out other site works as instructed.
