Job summary

AH BOON CIVIL ENGINEERING & BUILDING CONTRACTOR PTE LTD is seeking a Resident Technical Officer to oversee daily site operations, validate drawings, supervise on-site activities, and ensure safety in line with approved plans and statutory requirements.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering, RTO registration with IES/ACES, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong coordination with project teams and reporting to the Project Manager are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Registration as Resident Technical Officer accredited by IES/ACES.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience and a diploma in the civil/structural discipline or NCCS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify drawings and specifications to ensure construction aligns with approved plans and standards.
• Supervise construction activities on site and report progress accurately to stakeholders.
• Enforce construction safety protocols and coordinate work among site teams to maintain a safe environment.
• Identify and report discrepancies, non-conformances, and irregularities promptly to the Project Manager or Employer.
• Perform additional project-related duties as assigned to support successful project delivery.
• Utilize MS Word and Excel to update and maintain comprehensive project reports.

Education

Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering

National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent
