Job summary

The Salvation Army, Peacehaven Nursing Home in Singapore is seeking caring individuals to assist elderly residents with mobility, personal hygiene, and daily activities.

You will monitor vital signs, support wound care, help with meals, and maintain a safe, clean environment while following safety protocols. Training is provided for applicants without experience, and eligibility to work in Singapore is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Eldercare / Healthcare is an advantage
• Applicants without experience, training will be provided
• Must be authorised to work in Singapore

Responsibilities

• Assist with client transport, mobility, and personal hygiene (toileting, oral care, nail trimming).
• Monitor vital signs and blood glucose, assist with wound dressing, and support doctor during physical exams.
• Report changes in clients' condition.
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and ensure clients stay hydrated throughout the day.
• Clear dishes and assist with washing after meals.
• Assist with cleaning duties, including spills and daily equipment maintenance.
• Tidy treatment rooms and report maintenance needs to management.
• Follow safety protocols during client showers and diaper changes.

Working Hours

44 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays (45 minutes lunch break)
