Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Calibration Engineer to manage instrument calibration programs in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with metrology regulations, prepare the annual budget, and complete internal calibrations with proper records.

The role requires maintaining the measuring instruments ledger, reviewing documentation for accuracy, and producing monthly check summaries. You will coordinate purchases, drive process improvements, and train staff to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of calibration experience.
• Familiar with national metrology management regulations.
• Proficient in English; Mandarin preferred for China HQ communication.
• Certifications in metrological calibration are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration management of instruments per regulations and procedures.

Job description

Jobscope:

• Perform calibration management of instruments in accordance with regulations and internal procedures to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the measuring instruments in use
• Responsible for preparing the annual cost budget
• Responsible for completing the internal calibration of the instrument on schedule, making corresponding records, and approving the internal calibration report
• Responsible for summarizing and drawing up the measuring instruments ledger and keeping the ledger updated in time
• Review, register and file the relevant documents to ensure the timely, accurate and complete records.
• Responsible for the monthly check summary
• Responsible for reviewing, applying for purchase and acceptance of corresponding measuring instruments
• Complete all kinds of annual safety quality indicators issued by the department
• Establish and optimize the relevant operation process, train and ensure strict implementation, report problems in time and take the initiative to solve them.
• Complete the assigned tasks and delegated duties related to their own duties.

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor degree or above in Electrical & Electronic Engineering Instrumentation, automation and other related majors
• Min. 3 years calibration working experience or above.
• Familiar with national metrology management regulations
• Professional in English, good conversational Mandarin skillset preferred to communication frequently with China HQ for technical communication
• Good computer skills
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Holding relevant metrological calibrator certificate is preferred
