Job summary

PEOPLEBANK SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior / CAD Support Drafter on a 1-year contract in Singapore. The role combines AutoCAD drafting, on-site validation, and space data collection to support facilities and space management initiatives.

You will perform on-site measurements, update floor plans, coordinate with external CAD drafters, and verify room and equipment layouts. Travel to different sites in Singapore will be required as needed.

Qualifications

Senior / CAD Support Drafter

1-Year Contract

Our client is looking for experienced CAD Support Drafters to support site validation, technical drawing updates and space data collection for facilities and space management initiatives.

This role will involve a combination of hands-on AutoCAD drafting, on-site validation, space data collection and stakeholder coordination . Candidates should be comfortable working independently and travelling to different sites in Singapore when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site validation and site measurements to verify space usage, laboratory equipment locations and layouts.
• Review existing floor plans and identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
• Perform CAD drawing updates and mark-ups based on site findings and validation.
• Maintain accurate floor plans, equipment layouts and other technical drawing records.
• Coordinate with external CAD drafters/vendors on drawing amendments where required.
• Collect, review and verify room, space and equipment information from relevant stakeholders.
• Support the preparation and consolidation of space data.
• Assist with room tagging, polyline, workstation naming and other space-related data requirements.
• Check data and drawings for accuracy, completeness and consistency before submission.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to follow up on missing or incomplete information.
• Maintain project trackers, validation records, drawings and documentation.
• Support general project coordination and administrative activities where required.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Built Environment, Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Building Services or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least 5 years of CAD drafting experience , preferably within commercial, industrial, healthcare, engineering, facilities or interior design projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with hands-on experience reviewing, marking up and updating technical drawings, floor plans and/or equipment layouts.
• Experience with M&E, engineering, laboratory and/or interior fit-out drawings will be highly advantageous.
• Comfortable conducting on-site validation, measurements and data collection .
• Able to read and interpret floor plans and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word with good documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage accurate drawing and space-related information.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders .
• Willing and able to travel to other sites across Singapore for site validation and data collection when required.

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm
