Job summary

TANGSPAC CONSULTING PTE LTD seeks an experienced backend developer in Singapore to design and implement payment system components and gateway integrations (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UPI). You will analyze requirements and contribute to functional and technical designs for robust, scalable services.

Work includes Base24-eps migration on Linux RHEL or Cloud, PCI-DSS compliance, and close collaboration with QA, frontend and business stakeholders to deliver secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience, focusing on payment systems.
• Strong experience with Open System RHEL and AWS Cloud.
• Experience in C++, Korn Shell Script and Linux-based development.
• Experience with IBM MQ middleware and Base24-eps is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing project requirements and contribute to functional and technical designs.
• Development of backend systems for international payment gateway integrations (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UPI).
• Support migration and implementation to Base24-eps on Linux RHEL or Cloud, replacing legacy systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, frontend, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
• Work with vendors, schemes and banks under guidance of technical leads.
• Develop solutions in accordance with PCI-DSS, payment security standards, and international card scheme requirements.
• Optimize performance and reliability of switching systems and backend services.
