Job summary

Fuku in Singapore is seeking an experienced backend software engineer to design and implement systems for international payment gateway integrations (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UPI) and migrate Base24-eps on Linux/RHEL or cloud setups.

You will collaborate with QA, frontend teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions, ensuring payment security standards and compliance with PCI-DSS while optimizing performance of switching systems and backend services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in backend development, with a strong focus on payment systems and switching platforms.
• Strong experience with Open System RHEL and AWS Cloud.
• Proficiency in C++, Korn Shell Script, and Linux-based development.
• Experience with IBM MQ middleware is an advantage.
• Experience with Base24-eps is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database.
