Job summary

Aibel AS is seeking a seasoned Procurment professional in Singapore with 8–10 years of experience in procurement. You will prepare inquiry documentation, manage RFQ/Bid tenders, evaluate commercial aspects, and process SAP purchase orders to support renewables and oil & gas projects.

The role requires excellent English, strong planning abilities, and a high level of commercial awareness to ensure timely project delivery and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in the relevant discipline.
• Lack of formal education can be compensated with relevant experience according to Aibel position matrix.
• 8–10 years of experience within the procurement discipline, across different tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inquiry documentation and obtain RFQ/Bid tenders from suppliers.
• Evaluate commercial aspects of RFQ/Bid tenders.
• Process purchase orders for materials and/or services in SAP.
• Track material/procurement plans and follow up accordingly.
• Manage supplier invoicing and close-out of POs.
• Contribute to a positive project team environment and share information with colleagues.
• Provide training and feedback within the discipline and for subordinates as needed.
• Handle conflicts involving subordinates with appropriate escalation.

Job responsibilities:

• Prepare inquiry documentation
• Obtain RFQ/Bid Tenders from suppliers
• Evaluate commercial aspects of RFQ/Bid tender
• Effect purchase orders for materials and/or services through the SAP system
• Follow up material and procurement plans
• Invoice handling with suppliers and finance.
• Close-out of purchase orders
• Other relevant supply chain/procurement activities
• Contribute to a good working environment in their project team(s)
• Provide information to colleagues and make sure that relevant information is obtained from other discipline is shared accordingly.
• Contribute to on the job training for oneself and others
• Where applicable, manage performance of and provide feedback to subordinates. Feedback shall be documented on a regular basis and distributed to HR / Procurement Manager in department as required
• Manage conflicts involving subordinates

Work experience requirements:

• Min 8-10 years of experience with different types of tasks within the procurement discipline

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in the relevant discipline
