About the Role

This role spearheads client acquisition and growth for StraitsX's pioneering digital payment solutions. You are a senior member of the team and will be responsible for driving sales, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and crafting data-driven strategies to propel StraitsX's position within the dynamic digital asset and blockchain payments landscape. You will work closely with the Head of Payments and internal teams from Product, Operations, Compliance and Legal to craft, design and execute winning solutions to fit the needs of our clients.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute targeted strategies to acquire new merchant and corporate accounts in the payments space.
• Foster and nurture strategic relationships with key decision-makers at new and existing clients, collaborating effectively across internal teams as needed.
• Employ a consultative, solution-oriented approach, demonstrating a firm understanding of Payments, APIs and the Blockchain space to effectively address client needs and successfully close deals.
• Exhibit a robust network of clients and prospects in the Payments space
• Proactively address client inquiries and resolve concerns related to StraitsX's solutions, prioritizing client satisfaction and fostering long-term retention.
• Reach out and engage with top Enterprise Companies, Payment Firms, Merchants to build a sustainable pipeline of new accounts, leading the sales cycle from pitching, onboarding, to closing, ensuring a first-class client experience throughout.
• Own, monitor and track sales to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies for optimal performance for existing clients.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams like Compliance, Product, Operations, and Management to streamline sales operations and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
• Maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends, market shifts, competitor activity, and new product developments within the digital asset, blockchain and payments landscape.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within banking, fintech, payments, blockchain, or digital assets.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, acquiring strategic clients, and driving sustainable revenue growth in a competitive environment.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, presentation, and commercial negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret sales data and identify growth opportunities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong interest in innovation and emerging financial technologies.
• Experience using CRM platforms, such as HubSpot, together with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong written and spoken Mandarin proficiency would be an advantage.
